Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and design team to create UI components to deliver compelling user-facing widgets in a fast paced environment
- Work closely with the design team to ensure consistency and adherence to design and standards
- Collaborate with product and solution engineering team to develop interactive and visually appealing widgets
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility for widgets, optimizing for performance and responsiveness
- Implement data integration and API connections for dynamic widget
- Test and debug widgets, addressing any issues or bugs
Requirements
- Experience in developing web applications in React frontend frameworks
- Experience in debugging problems in browsers devtools e.g Chrome DevTools
- Fundamental knowledge in front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Related experience in Sass/CSS styling and in writing type-safe code with Typescript
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting attitude
- Exhibits proactive interpersonal and communication skills
- Exhibits strong sense of responsibility and demonstrates good teamwork
- Portfolio of previous widget development projects is a plus
Awesome to Have
- Experience in creating and managing Storybook stories for UI components
- Experience with Component-driven development, UI/UX design
- Understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles
