The Customer Engineering Operations Team is looking for an experienced Engineering Ops Analyst to work out of our headquarters in San Diego. Working with multiple internal worldwide
Engineering teams. This position will serve in a critical role, ensuring that agreements supporting JTR IOT services are executed, tracked, documented and providing project status. This position will be based in San Diego, no travel needs expected.
Qualcomm provides integrated solutions for mobile phone products worldwide. Customer Engineering supports customers with all aspects of embedded system development. This includes assisting internal and external customers by providing support for data entry & analysis in multiple business systems and responding to basic email questions from internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Candidate will take direction from multiple people for engagement within the appropriate system and must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in executing the job.
Candidate will be responsible for the following tasks and activities:
- Support JTR IOT and Lab conformance test results documents per executed agreement. This includes actively interfacing with external IOT infrastructure vendors and PoCs to secure, release and distribute JTR IOT documents as needed based on customer entitlements.
- Support JTR IOT test results. This includes interfacing with internal worldwide teams and POCs to secure, consolidate and archive all JTR IOT documents prior to infrastructure vendor approval submission. Technology Areas involved for JTR IOT results 2G (GSM, GPRS, EGPRS), 3G (WCDMA, HSDP, HSUPA, SUPL), 4G (LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, eMBMS, VoLTE, SUPL) and 5G NR JTR IOT results
- Collaborate with worldwide teams ensuring project execution and providing improvements to agreement process within Qualcomm
- Execute projects for timely resolution while accurately maintaining project status for presentation to leads.
- Ability to spot and report any issues that would prevent project initiation
- Pro-actively drive engagement for new initiatives/projects with the goal of timely implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
1+ years experience in data management and analysis in Excel or other programs.
2+ years experience supporting Engineering Operations, project or program management.
