Housekeeper, full-time

We are hiring a full-time Housekeeper on the day shift to help clean and maintain a convent home for elder Franciscan sisters in Chicago (60659 area near Lincolnwood and North Park neighborhoods)!

• Working 30+ hours per week (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
  
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments as needed (e.g. cleaning in the kitchen, laundry, assisting with accompanying the transport of sisters)

General Summary:

The Housekeeper performs cleaning duties in order to maintain a sanitary, clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms, and vacuuming and cleaning floors.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping/cleaning experience ( commercial/environmental cleaning experience is a plus!)
• Seeking a dedicated hard worker with excellent time-management skills who thrives in a team setting
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
