IT Concepts is looking for a principal solutions architect to support the ITC Service Delivery Teams. This is a technical role providing direct support to the Agency portfolio executive leads.  The principal solutions architect is critical to the alignment of technical solutions across ITC corporate and the customer. 

Location: This position will be primarily worked in a remote work environment. Candidates need to live within driving distance to Woodlawn, MD for occasional client meetings on a as needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all levels of executive and portfolio management to understand the organizations strategies and technical capabilities.
  • Identify and align technical solutions across the internal corporate and Agency capabilities.
  • Provide constructive feedback, guidance and technical expertise to the service delivery teams.
  • Engage with other principal technical leaders across the portfolios to produce white papers, use cases, customer quotes, etc.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive technical and infrastructure strategies that support ITC’s strategic objectives for the Agency.
  • Analyze existing technical solution the service delivery teams provide the Agency identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct research to understand the target audience to ensure the technical strategies and solutions resonates with the intended audience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience using current customer state viewpoints to identify and analyze pain points and opportunities (PPOs) within the customer contracts and environment ecosystem. 
  • Demonstrated experience creating and utilizing architecture best practice and state of the industry design principles, practices, and patterns to ensure alignment with customer and corporate IT Strategies and Reference Architectures. 
  • Experience leading development and executing a technical roadmap aligned with business objectives and value outcomes. 
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentorship to the cloud and engineering teams. 
  • Experience ensuring scalability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of industry and technology trends to include, but not limited to: Cloud Services, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Zero Trust, Analytic & Data solutions, etc. 
  • Experience collaborating with product management, customer, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. 
  • Experience using best practices for Systems Architecture, Operations Engineering, and Software development, including agile, lean systems engineering, and ITIL methodologies 
  • Demonstrates a lean systems engineering background and approach to design and implementation. 
  • Experience evaluating and recommending technologies that enhance an organization’s technical capabilities. 
  • Experience overseeing architecture design and implementation across various projects. 
  • Experience leading efforts to optimize data storage, retrieval, and analytics through effective use of databases and data warehouses. 
  • Demonstrated capability in executive level communication 
  • Demonstrated experience conducting an analysis of technical alternatives 
  • Have obtained an ITIL certification or demonstrated engineering ops skillsets 
  • Participated in vendor evaluations and technology assessments 
  • Experience leading, evaluating and participating in technical solutioning and design activities for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Task Orders (TO’s) and other solution activities  
  • Have obtained AWS and/or Azure Certification and demonstrated experience with cloud provisioning, cloud optimization, and cloud security

  • Must have, and willing and able to get and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be US Citizen or possess Green Card
