What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Experienced in drafting Estate Planning Documents
- Experienced in preparations of Wills and Trust
- Conducts relevant legal issues, statutes and regulations to support attorneys in their case preparation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- JD is highly preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledgeable in Legal Software tools such as Clio
What will you do?
- Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case progress, answering inquiries, and maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor when working with individuals and families.
- Drafting Documents:
- Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents, ensuring they comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Estate Planning:
- Collaborate with attorneys to assess clients' estate planning needs and provide recommendations, including the establishment of trusts, asset protection strategies, and healthcare directives.
- Legal Research:
- Conduct research on relevant legal issues, statutes, and regulations to support the attorneys in case preparation and strategy.
- Record Maintenance:
- Maintain organized and accurate client records, ensuring all documents and communication are properly documented and easily accessible.
- Scheduling and Calendar Management:
- Manage attorney schedules, including court dates, client meetings, and deadlines, to ensure efficient time management and case progression.
- Notary Services:
- Act as a notary public to notarize legal documents as required.
