Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role gaining impactful insights by analyzing complex sales-datasets, developing machine learning models, and translating insights into actionable business strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve challenging problems using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end analysis of large and complex datasets to extract valuable insights.
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for predictive analytics and pattern recognition.
- Create research studies for our marketing team to strengthen our position as thought leader in the market
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production and optimize performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions.
- Build automatic ML pipelines from extracting data to serving and updating the models in production.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences through reports and presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science or 1+ years of experience in Data Science + 2+ years experience in software development
- Background in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and model development.
- Understanding of databases, especially SQL.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (we work with PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas).
- Experience with transformer models for NLP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience putting systems in production (Experience with Docker and/or cloud alternatives)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LLMs (RAGs, OpenAI or Antropics API, LangChain or similar).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus (we work with AWS).
- Previous experience in industries such as sales & marketing analytics is a plus.
- Knowledge of big data technologies is a plus.
- Experience with orchestration tools for data pipelines such as Airflow, Dagster etc

Annual compensation:
€60000- €75000
