Responsibilities
- Implement the business intelligence strategy and operating model in line with b_labs' business objectives and industry best practices
- Design and ensure quality implementation of reporting foundation layer to facilitate business requirements mapping into realized solutions in minimal time frame
- Functional and technical development of business intelligence solutions including dashboards, operational reports, data marts, and OLAP cubes from scratch as well as existing solutions support
- Maintains and enhance all business intelligence and data analytics solutions including reports and dashboards excellence, accuracy, and documentation ensuring non-redundancy and operational efficiency
- Ensure that all data marts & universes are properly maintained, documented, and recorded in the data dictionary
- Participate in business intelligence platforms selection and evaluation, deployment, and operation
- Participate in building proper data quality strategy and practices to ensure the excellence of the business intelligence solutions and services
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of b_labs' business intelligence ecosystem, proactively identifying and addressing any issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in business intelligence
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence tools, technologies, and best practices, including data marts, cubes, semantics layers, and analytical engines, especially Power BI and Tableau platforms
