Not a CNA yet?  We will pay for you to become a C.N.A. while you are employed - learn skills on the job and complete your certification through our partnership with NWTC!

As a WiscCaregiver CNA Trainee, you will perform the job duties listed below while working toward your CNA for free!  Once you are ready for the exam, we will pay for two attempts.  After you are certified, you will work as a CNA and on your six month anniversary, earn a $500 retention bonus.

As a CNA, you will provide basic patient care under the direction of the nursing staff and perform duties such as feed, bathe, dress, groom patients and change linens
Move, transfer or transport patients.
Will work specifically with rehab patients in our rehab neighborhood with the expectation of working in areas of the nursing home as needed.

Completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant course or passing the State Nursing Assistant exam for Certification as well as the CNA listing on the State and Federal Registry or the willingness to become certified required. 
Experience as a Nursing Assistant in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. 
Computer skills strongly preferred. 
Certified or willingness to obtain dementia care certification strongly preferred.
