The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Marketing Copywriter to join our digital marketing team. As an essential part of our team, you will support our Senior Email Marketer and Campaign Manager by focusing on creating compelling and effective omnichannel copy. Your role will be critical in engaging our significant global audience, enhancing all our marketing journeys to deliver customer-centric value, penetrating new markets as we advance our global content strategy, and delivering through-the-funnel conversion campaigns designed to drive attendance and engagement across our core products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Campaign Creation: Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns and copy for various customer groups across core brands, products, and services. Collaborate with the Senior Email Marketer to design customer journeys that align with brand and product objectives.
  • Content Development: Craft clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for emails, newsletters, and other related content, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Tone of Voice: Maintain and advise on the brand's tone of voice across all campaign content, ensuring consistency with target market expectations.
  • Segmentation and Personalisation: Use data-driven insights to segment audiences and personalise email content to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
  • Template Management: Build and manage email templates within D365, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on email campaigns to identify successful strategies and improve performance metrics.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Evaluate the performance of email campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Compliance: Ensure all email marketing activities comply with GDPR regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Possess strong written communication skills with flawless spelling and grammar.
  • Email Marketing Knowledge: Have an in-depth understanding of email marketing strategies, best practices, and deliverability.
  • Analytical Ability: Demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive continuous improvement in email performance.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including Marketing Operations, Events Marketing, and Content Marketing teams.
  • Project Management: Exhibit strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Technology: Proficient in marketing automation technology and familiar with analytical and database tools.
  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in all deliverables.
