There will be 30% Admin and 70% Developer work. Client does not want an Admin, the last person was an admin and did not work out. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer. ITIL v3 certification is a bonus
3+ years of ServiceNow Development experience with BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
Expert understanding of ServiceNow Platform Development technologies including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, etc
Experience in REST and Soap webservices is a bonus
Experience in web application development with Java based server environments
Knowledge in JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML/HTML is preferred.
- Analyze, design and develop business applications
- Participate in development and testing of software
- Create detailed architecture and technical designs including process flow charts, data models, and system integration interfaces
- Support ServiceNow integrations with 3rd party applications and data sources
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Back-end development, Java-based server side experience
- Javascript
- SQL
- ServiceNow experience
- Experience performing functions such as administration, service mapping, integration, configuration and scripting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
