The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Group Product Manager to support on shaping and delivering the roadmap across app, web, and relevant digital channels. This role will oversee a team of Product Managers responsible for delivering new features, projects, and improvements to support the business achieving its vision. This will suit someone with a hands-on Product Management background that likes to develop strong knowledge of their products and has an action orientated approach to moving projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Head of Product and Design and business stakeholders to refine and drive the product vision translating into prioritised backlog of projects for the team.
- Work relentlessly with your team to ensure next milestones in projects are clear, have the necessary focus and that progress is communicated regularly and effectively.
- Build and maintain strong and balanced teams that know their products, business metrics and business challenges/opportunities in detail.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to make sure project goals and outcomes align with project objectives.
- Where needed, unblock weekly challenges that arise and work with business and team to rapidly identify solutions and co-ordinate and communicate response.
- Maintain strong knowledge of emerging trends and innovations from industry leaders in the digital space and help translate into opportunities for the business.
Provide support and guidance to team of Product Mangers to help them develop and succeed
Requirements
- Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders.
- Able to define and drive product development across more than one team.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Not essential but nice to have. Experience in line managing and guiding direct reports, conducting performance reviews.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Able to sort through ambiguity to provide clear steps forward for project and team members.
- You roll up your sleeves and tackle problems hands-on.
