Shiplift specialist

As a Shiplift Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the operations of shiplift systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of vessels during the lifting and lowering processes.

In this role, you will collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate shiplift operations. You will also be responsible for conducting inspections, troubleshooting any issues, and providing technical expertise to ensure smooth operations of the shiplift system.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shiplift operations based on project requirements
• Ensure the safe and efficient lifting and lowering of vessels using the shiplift system
• Conduct inspections and maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of the shiplift system
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during shiplift operations
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful execution of shiplift operations
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in shiplift technology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in shipbuilding industry with specific experience in shiplift operations
• Strong knowledge of shiplift systems and operations
• Experience in planning and coordinating shiplift operations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
