Tagaddod is pioneering in the field of waste collection technology. We are looking for hustlers to take what we are building to the next level.
This job has a mix of responsibilities between Engineering, Quality Control and Purchasing. We are looking to give this role to an individual with a sense of entrepreneurship who has high leadership sense and who is willing to embark on a challenge. You will be working from our new location in Alexandria, leading the launch of the location, activating systems, building supplier relationships and runny daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all installations and refurbishments at Alexandria & October locations
- Brief team leaders on a daily basis, and report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Deal directly with suppliers, and execute purchasing strategies
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
- Examine and test the raw materials and supplies supplied to the location according to the acceptance criteria.
- Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
- Keep financial and non-financial records, manage cash movement and bookkeeping
- Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
- Supervise all staff and external contractors
- Coordinate the use of automated and digital systems where necessary
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience.
- An Engineering degree is a must - preferable Chemical or Petroleum or Mechanical.
- Excellent technical and IT skills, particularly when it comes to database management and spreadsheets - Proficiency in excel is a must

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
- A team player
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles is a plus
