Role: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Washington D.C
Contract

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain IFC specific SAP inbound and outbound interfaces, ABAP/4 Reports, ABAP Query, Report Writer and Report Painter reports, in the areas of FI, CO, FM and MM modules.
Analyze user requirements, performing analysis of data entry points and converting the user requirements (Functions specs) into Technical Specs
Develop, test and deploy SAP objects (Tables, Interface programs, BAPIs etc.,).

Requirements:

The candidate should have 6+ years of total IT experience of which at least 5 years with SAP ABAP/4 programming.
The candidate should have at least 4+ years of Technical experience with FI (General Ledger, Special Purpose Ledger), Controlling, and Budgeting, Funds Management, and Materials Management modules of SAP. In depth theoretical understanding and practical expertise with regards to software development life cycle methodologies. Should thorough understanding of the database tables used in FI, CO, FM and MM modules.
Hands on experience in writing interfaces between SAP and legacy systems, including data migration, data validation and data conversion.
Strong communication skills, hands on experience in analyzing user requirements and writing technical specifications.
Hands on experience in analysis, design and development of SAP interface programs with ABAP/4.
Hands on experience in ABAP/4 Query, ALV, Report Writer and Report Painter tools.
Experience with ITS, BAPI and RFC technology.
