Position Overview
The Event Technology Sales Manager oversees the full sales cycle from lead management, client site visit(s), and event kickoff within one of our local hotel venues. In this role, you will drive revenue by identifying customer needs and providing audio visual solutions within the clients budget.
Key Responsibilities
Nurture sales leads and convert to closed won opportunities within CRM.
Build orders in Intellievent (event management software).
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure SOP’s are adhered to.
Attend designated site visits with hotel sales and catering staff, as well as pre-convention meetings.
Solicit and receive feedback from clients on their level of satisfaction and areas for improvement.
Work schedule to mirror onsite sales team at the hotel venue. Hours are expected to be approximately 8am-5pm but will require some evenings and weekends.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.
Job Qualifications
Minimum 3 years sales experience within audio visual / events or similar field.
Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clientele.
CRM experience across multiple platforms (Zoho, SalesForce, etc.) preferred.
High level of professionalism with written and verbal communications.
