Accounting Specialist

Your Role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our finance team! 

As an Accounting Specialist, you will:

• Process vendor bills for the U.S., making timely payments to vendors and approving all employee reimbursements.
• Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

This role requires 2-3 days in the office per week. We're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.

Must-Haves

• GAAP knowledge. Through your education and experience, you’ve developed knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.
• Self-motivated. You enjoy working independently but still love to collaborate within a team. 
• Technical experience. You’re proficient in Excel and are even better about researching functions in Excel.
• Detail-oriented. You have exceptional time management skills that allow you to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-Haves

• Proficient with accounting and CRM systems. We use NetSuite, Tipalti and Navan
• Path to complete CPA. You are motivated to complete your CPA in the near future.
