What You Will Do:
The Supply Chain Manager is a key member of our local leadership team who is responsible for driving continuous improvement throughout planning and delivering world class results in performance metrics. This role will lead efforts for site SIOP, Logistics, Procurement, Master Scheduling, Customer Service/Order Entry, and Inventory Control. Highlights of responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic insight by identifying and implementing processes that improve lead-times, costs, cash flow/inventory and service by continuously monitoring and analyzing the flow of goods.
- Manage the local SIOP process and review all business inputs to optimize the trade-offs between revenue, customer service, cash flow, and total cost.
- Identify and manage current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
- Implement methods, practices and techniques to ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.
- Analyze data and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal supply chain execution. Special focus on total cost of acquisition optimization.
- Lead, coach and develop the team to improve overall service delivery both internally and externally
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales and API customers.
- Lead and manage the site logistics/ transportation function and the local 3PL relationships with the help of the Corporate Staff to optimize the trade-off between cost and service levels.
- Represent the site on various API Functional Councils to assist in developing/leveraging common best practices and standard processes and procedures.

What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or related field
- At least five (5) years’ experience in managing a fully integrated Supply Chain team, leading and developing a team at an industrial manufacturer of low to medium volume – high mix products
- Proficient knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and equipment to the design and production of various goods/services.
- Experience creating and delivering a integrated supply chain strategies.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience:
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage teams, and provide a collaborative, solution-focused approach
