Position:

We are looking for a Regional Accountant based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Reports to: Financial Controller and CFO

Key external relationships: Auditors, Banks, and financial advisory firms.

Key internal relationships: Regional Finance Team, Finance Teams of each office, Partners and Advisers

Salary range: Competitive, varying based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.

Position type: Full Time – Regular

Working Hour: Mon-Fri, 8am –12pm and 2pm – 6pm

Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Main duties

• Prepare monthly IFRS accounts along with the necessary supporting schedules.
• Banking and cash flow management.
• Assist with daily bookkeeping, including preparation of postings and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with the Manager to produce accurate financial reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure accurate preparation of year-end audited financial statements by liaising with external auditors.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Essential skills & proficiency

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance and at least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Computer literate (especially MS. Excel) & Good knowledge of accounting software.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Integrity, reliability, and a commitment to strict confidentiality
• Able to work within a team.
• Proactive and problem-solving attitude.

Desirable:

• Prior experience working at a professional services firm is an advantage.
• Pursuing ACCA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Prior experience working in a multinational workplace is an advantage.
