Analytics Engineer We are looking for continuous learners that love to solve tough problems using data. You will gain exposure to a wide range of industries where you will gather requirements and turn ambiguous requests into clear, thoughtful data models using a wide range of technologies both in the cloud and on-premise. You write top-notch SQL code that is clear, concise, and documented along the way.

Candidates starting or early in their career will go through extensive training and receive as much support as needed. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities - Gather stakeholder requirements with a focus on understanding business processes, not just fields and tables
- Work with diverse teams to map source data to target models.
- Integrate data from a variety of source systems
- Build data models with a focus on continuous improvement via client feedback. We love client feedback at every step of the process so we can be sure our final product is a success.
- Leverage a variety of best-in-class tools.
- Assist clients on their data journey from outdated systems and poorly documented code towards modern data platforms that allow them to scale
Required Skills and Qualifications - 1-2 years of experience implementing real world data warehousing solutions
- You are a SQL rockstar with experience writing CTEs, stored procedures, and breaking apart complex code into individual components
- Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary for interacting with clients and presenting solutions
- Understanding of common data modeling methodologies as follows:
- Dimensional Modeling Strong understanding required
- Data Vault Preferred, but not required
- Data Mesh Bonus round!
- Familiarity with CI/CD and git
- Ability to develop and deliver creative solutions to meet business needs
- Familiarity with cloud technologies. Some of our favorites are:

- Databricks
- Dbt
- Some experience with Azure or AWS tools
- Experienced with data profiling to understand data quality, primary/foreign key relationships, cardinality, partitioning, and table design
- Python or similar object-oriented language preferred
