As Lead/Sr. QA you will play a pivotal role for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products/Applications. Create and execute test cases, identify and report defects, perform testing, participate in test planning, and collaborate with development teams.
Objective:
• Test website applications to ensure they meet quality standards for clients.
• Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them.
• Create test cases based on user stories and requirements.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.
• Perform regression testing, API Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products.
• Automate Manual test cases and Execution on Automation suites.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain testing infrastructure in the team for efficient testing.
• Write detailed test reports and performance analyses for the product.
• Participate in the complete software development life cycle for new products.
• Communicate with operations team to gather and understand the requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant project experience in Manual and Automation testing is required.
• Experience in Java with Selenium and Frameworks (Cucumber and TestNG)
• Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Expertise in any test management tools, TestRail would be preferred.
• A basic understanding of web technologies such as .NET(optional), HTML.
• Good understanding of SQL and API Testing using Postman.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, and good management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred skills
• Should have some exposure of Agile methodologies.
• Any QA certifications like ISTQB is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Load test and Performance testing tools
