From originators to innovators, we’ve evolved our business for 15 years and our industry with pioneering ideas that remove the frustration of traditional insurance and put drivers in control of their insurance. Our mission is to make insurance flexible, quick, and easy for drivers and so far, we’ve sold over five million policies that have helped drivers get where they need to go, but we’re not finished there. We’re growing our team to help us continue on that mission.
Job Overview
The core responsibilities will be the generation, maintenance and development of optimised pricing models and monitoring pricing performance with a view to identifying value-add opportunities. A key element of the pricing models are the underlying statistical models that should accurately reflect customer behaviour (using market best practice techniques) and feed the price optimisation, built with Willis Towers Watson software (Emblem and Radar). These will need to be refreshed in a timely manner, with a focus on developing them further. Once live, the commercial and customer outcomes will need to be closely monitored, intervening when necessary to improve Tempcover’s trading performance. Pricing is a key contributor to the company’s profitability, so success in this area has a significant benefit to Tempcover’s P&L.
