Food Service Worker - Full Time

The Sarah Neuman Division of The New Jewish Home is looking for a Full Time Food Service Worker to join their team!

Job Summary: This candidate must have general knowledge of food preparation and handling technique; able to execute various food service assignments; able to work as a team member ,can work independently given the proper direction . Can provide a clean, safe and neat environment for residents, self and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assists in the storage preparation, portioning and serving food.
• Cleans immediate work areas and maintains clean and sanitary work environment
• Washing of small wares and equipment, conforming to all sanitary codes and standards
• Prepares cold foods, salads and nourishment as needed or required
• Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• One year experience in Food Service or Food Prep in a health care setting
• Previous geriatric experience preferred
• Shifts are 7am- 3pm,11am-7pm, 3pm-7pm
• Every other weekend offs
