Process Technician

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control processing unit and facility operations at the refinery, overseeing pressures, flows, temperatures, and equipment for various sections: Crude Section, Crude gas compression facilities, Crude light-ends facilities, Hydro finer Facilities (Naphtha, Kerosene, and Diesel reactors) & Power former facility.
• Collect necessary samples and conduct analyses in laboratories to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Recommend operational adjustments to correct deviations from specifications and ensure target process stream qualities.
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report any changes or concerns.
• Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with offsite technicians to ensure a consistent supply of feedstock and timely switching of new feed tanks.
• Coordinate closely with other work teams to optimize plant operation, enhance product yields, maintain product quality, conserve energy, and minimize oil loss.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Polytechnic Certificate required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a related technical field preferred; fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Basic understanding of safety, health, and environmental issues in plant operations.
• Ability to work safely and strictly follow approved operating procedures
• Proficient in alarm response management.
• Willingness to work on a shift cycle.
• Must be based in Port Dickson Refinery, Negeri Sembilan.
