Project Overview

This project seeks professional voice artists for an audio recording initiative. The recordings will be utilized for our client's internal text-to-speech (TTS) research and development. Your voice will not be used for public broadcast or commercial purposes; instead, it will help train the client's new TTS models.

Project Details:

• Audition sample required in application (script provided- roughly 200 words)
• Recording Requirements:
• Voice artists will be assigned to record 3 hours, 2 hours, or 1 hour of audio, as determined after audition approval. (Payment will be per hour of recorded audio)
• 4-6 seconds of silence is required before and after each prompt.
• Each script must be recorded and submitted as a single .wav file.
• Audio specifications (for both the audition sample and main recording):
• Format: 24-bit, 48 kHz, mono
• File Type: Unprocessed, raw .wav files
• Noise Floor: 60dB or better
• Peak Value Level: Maximum -3 dB (preferred -6 dB)
• Quality: No audible background noise or room echo
• Performance: Naturally minimized breaths and clicks (no plugins)
• Post-production editing to remove mistakes is allowed, but no plugins should be used to clean up audio
• Timeline:
• Once approved you will have 2 days to complete the final recording. The deadline is tight so please move quickly

• Central American (Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica)
• Pacific Andean (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru)
• Caribbean (Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico)
• Chilean
• American English: Must speak one of the following accents:
• US - North Central
• US - Northeast
• US - Northwest
• US - South
• US - West
• US - Midland
• Must be over 18 years of age, no maximum
• Must be able to meet the audio specifications
