Seeking: R&D Software / Electrical Engineer

My client: is an Electric Vehicle company, founded and based in Catalonia, Spain (15 min away from Girona and 50 min away from Barcelona) with an international presence.

Tasks

Reporting to the COO, we are looking for an R&D Software / Electrical Engineer:

• Developing the electronics of electric vehicles
• Designing both hardware and software, as well as the integration of IoT devices.
• Main tasks:
• - PCB design using Altium (schematics+layout).
• - ECU programming with STM32 microcontrollers.
• - Vehicle Connectivity: Integration of IoT devices with CAN Bus protocol, and its management through an API.
• - Vehicle EMC analysis and improvements.

Requirements

• + 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer
• Familiarity with Electronic Software & hardware
• If you have connectivity (cloud servers) knowledge, it will be a plus
• English intermediate-high is required for this role.
• Excellent electronic skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electric vehicle systems.
