Tasks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Haptic Embedded Chair Prototyping Intern/Junior Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in the development and testing of prototypes for haptic-embedded chairs. Working closely with our research and development team, you will contribute to the creation of innovative solutions that enhance human-machine interaction and elevate user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and assembly of prototypes for haptic-embedded chairs, ensuring functionality and ergonomic comfort.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate haptic technology seamlessly into chair designs.
• Conduct testing and analysis of prototype performance, gathering feedback for refinement and improvement.
• Assist in documenting and reporting on prototype development processes and outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in haptic technology to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field such as industrial design, engineering, human-computer interaction, or related areas.
• Strong interest in haptic technology and its applications in enhancing user experiences.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools and techniques, such as 3D printing, CAD software, soldering, and basic electronics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas effectively.
