krisenchat is a nationwide, free support service for children and young adults in need. We are an agile non-profit organisation and offer children and young people professional psychosocial counselling - every day, 24 hours a day, via WhatsApp or text message. krisenchat has been available 24/7 since the beginning of May 2020 - since then, the many crisis counselors have been able to help in over 120.000 crisis situations. Since 1 March 2022, krisenchat Ukrainian has also been providing confidential crisis counseling in Ukrainian and Russian for people affected by war at any age - with over 23.000 consultations provided. In addition to crisis counseling, krisenchat reaches many millions of young people every year through psychoeducation via social media platforms.
We are an interdisciplinary team and work flexibly in our beautiful office in Berlin or from home.

Aufgaben
Shaping target group-appropriate recruiting processes
- With your fluency in Ukrainian and/or Russian as well as English, you will support the recruiting processes in an assigned area and ensure a great candidate experience (e.g. through timely communication, targeted rejections, reminders, smooth transition to onboarding).
- After your onboarding, you will also take part in the selection process as an active team member.
- You create draft contracts according to templates and ensure a 4-eye check before sending them to new colleagues.
Administrative support
- You check the time recording of colleagues working shifts according to a predefined scheme and ensure error-free allowance management.
- Data maintenance in the assigned area and reminders to employees regarding documents/evidence are also part of your area of responsibility.
- Support with research in an international context, specifically for the personnel organisation in Ukraine.
Events & Support
- You will support krisenchat events and office processes in cooperation with our Office Manager.
Qualifikation
Must-have:
- You are currently enrolled, preferably with a focus on people management topics or business administration. Ideally, you are already studying for a Master's degree.
- You currently live in Berlin.
- For this role both Ukrainian and Russian as well as English are required as working languages. Your German language skills are at B2 level or better.
- You are enthusiastic about HR topics and are also willing to provide support in related areas.
- We presume secure handling of Google Worksuite and sensitive handling of personal data.
nice to have:
- A welcome bonus would be initial experience (internships, student work or previous professional experience) in administration or recruiting.
- Concrete prior knowledge of data protection (DSGVO; BDSG) is welcome, but not a requirement.
