Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Own the company's business intelligence strategy to create a best-in-class experience for business units, ensuring excellent data quality and availability, harmonized KPIs, and a streamlined reporting landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI tools, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights for commercial teams.
• Lead data governance initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across the organization.
• Develop and implement strategies for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to optimize data integration and accessibility.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of BI systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements accordingly.
• Provide training and support to commercial teams on BI tools and techniques to foster data-driven culture.

Your profile

• Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, with a track record of successfully delivering BI solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QlikView, as well as SQL and data visualization techniques.
• Solid understanding of building, managing, and scaling a performant data infrastructure (master data, databases, ETL engines, data warehouses, reporting tools).
• Prior experience with Looker as a BI tool and Netsuite as an ERP system is a big plus.
• Familiarity with programming languages are a strong plus (LookML, SQL, Python).
• Experience in the retail/e-commerce industry is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• An approach that is clear, efficient, and friendly in verbal and written communication (fluent English, German is a plus).
