As the Product Manager for Identity/Digital Product Passport (DPP) at the IOTA Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of our identity and digital product passport products. This role requires a strong understanding of decentralized identity concepts, market dynamics, and the ability to translate actual and future customer needs and requirements into robust and user-friendly solutions. Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
   1. Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for IOTA's identity, digital product passport and related solutions.
   2. Create and maintain a roadmap that aligns with the IOTA Foundation's goals and industry trends.
2. Requirements Gathering and Definition:
   1. Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather and prioritize requirements for product features and enhancements.
   2. Define clear and detailed product specifications based on user needs and market demands.
3. Development and Release Management:
   1. Work closely with development teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
   2. Oversee the release process, including testing, documentation, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
4. Market Analysis and Positioning:
   1. Conduct ongoing market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
   2. Define and communicate the unique value proposition of IOTA's identity and digital product passport solutions.
5. Customer Engagement and Feedback:
   1. Engage with customers to understand their experiences and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
   2. Implement strategies for user education and adoption of IOTA's identity and DPP solutions.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   1. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and business development teams to ensure product success.
   2. Communicate effectively across departments to align product goals with organizational objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics or technical or physical science (e.g., engineering, physics) with a very strong link to software development
• Thorough proficiency in software product management best practices and body of knowledge (e.g., ISPMA)
• Proven experience as a software Product Manager, preferably in the field of identity management, digital product passports or related (decentralized) software solutions.
• Deep understanding of decentralized identity concepts and blockchain/DLT technologies and how they may be applied to business use cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with IOTA's technology and the broader blockchain/DLT ecosystem.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, capture, and analysis (e.g., BABOK)
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
• German, Arabic, or an additional European language
