Lead Trainer - Full-Stack Engineering with TypeScript (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced Lead Trainer to teach and be responsible for our full-time 'Women in Tech' talent accelerator program with a European Tech Partner of ours in Berlin.

It’s a 9-month Full-Stack Engineering course with focus on Backend and Typescript dedicated to Women+ which will take place online with a couple of in-person classes on a monthly basis. Hence it is necessary to be based in Berlin or close by.

Your role will be to ignite the curiosity of the class (15-20 students) and fuel their learning journey throughout the course. Your mission will be to empower our students, propelling them towards their dream jobs in the tech industry.

We see this role as a collaborative journey, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with our curriculum master and the other trainers shaping and enhancing our course content, ensuring it is always fresh, relevant, and cutting-edge.

The course is divided into different modules, therefore we are our looking for three different Lead Trainers with different expertises:

1. Introduction to Software Engineering, Data and Algorithms (Teaching period from April to June)
2. Full-Stack Development: TypeScript, Frontend and Modern Backend Development (Teaching period from June to September)
3. Advanced Software Development and Cloud Computing Mastery (Teaching period from October to January)

Based on your expertise it is possible to take over one or more modules.

Tasks

• Responsible for the morning classes from Monday to Friday.
• Coordinate with other trainers in shaping and enhancing the course content.
• Collaborate with other trainers to ensure a smooth, efficient and effective course experience for the students.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Berlin-based.
• Previous experience with teaching, mentorship or tutoring is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of the industry as a backend developer.
• A degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science).
• An impressive portfolio or GitHub account.
• Being able to commit from Monday to Friday for the agreed teaching period.
• Enthusiasm to welcome others to the digital field, and to share your own experiences both as a student and working professional.
• Willingness to work with Women+ students from beginner level onwards.
