Working Student Data Science REMOTE (all genders)

As a Working Student in Data Science at AllocNow, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of data science while working remotely from Germany. Your mission involves blending pragmatic approaches to data integration with machine learning models to link different data sources, including enterprise systems, public databases, and private data repositories. This position offers the flexibility to balance your academic studies while gaining valuable practical experience in a real-world business environment.

Tasks

• Collaborate with our Product team to support a specific project from conception to completion
• Utilize your programming skills in Python and manipulate data effectively
• Apply your competence in linking various disconnected data sources, integrating data from multiple platforms and formats
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex problems related to the sustainability transformation of the chemical industry
• Communicate project progress, findings, and insights effectively with the team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student at a German university, in a STEM, Informatics, Operations Research, or equivalent field
• Proficient in Python programming language
• Familiarity with data engineering, data science, and machine learning/AI concepts and techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills are optional
• Knowledge in Chemistry is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
