For our Finance team at our HQ in Berlin we are looking for you as a

Head of Accounting (f/m/x/d)

Your Mission

• You are responsible for the management of accounting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations for all MILES companies
• You carry out quality checks, identify potential for improvement and proactively suggest process optimizations
• You are responsible for accounting and reporting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• You prepare financial reports, annual financial statements (incl. notes, management report) for all German companies
• You lead the audit of the MILES companies with our auditors
• You work closely with the Group Accounting, Treasury and Controlling departments, as well as with our external tax advisors
• You take over the leadership of the accounting team
• You will be in charge of the new ERP system implementation

Your Strengths

• You have a degree in business administration, finance or a related field
• You have extensive experience in accounting and have already successfully held a manager position
• You have already acquired extensive knowledge in the use of ERP systems and other accounting software applications
• You are characterized by your strong analytical skills
• You speak both German and English at a native or fluent level
