Walkolution is the visionary force redefining the ergonomic landscapes on a global scale. As one of the few German startups with an own manufacturing, we use advanced manufacturing methods like 3D printing, CNC machining, robotics to revolutionize workplace health with our patented manual treadmill desks, which we sell in more than 60 coutnries. Now we're looking for a Senior Engineer to drive our mission forward and establish new benchmarks in manufacturing excellence and work on upcoming product generations.

Tasks

As the Senior Lead Engineer, you will be at the forefront of manufacturing innovation, leveraging a variety of technologies to push the boundaries of what's possible. You will not only oversee our existing productions but also expand our capabilities into other advanced manufacturing methods and work with us on the future of the multi-award-winning Walkolution treadmill.

Key responsibilites

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in diverse manufacturing technologies.
• Oversee the development and execution of innovative product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Drive advancements in additive manufacturing, exploring new materials and state-of-the-art printing techniques.
• Expand our manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless integration of advanced manufacturing methods in product development.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements, implementing best practices in manufacturing and engineering.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field. Advanced degrees are highly valued.
• Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software and a deep understanding of modern manufacturing processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and innovative thinking.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in mentoring and guiding teams.
