What you’ll be doing
- As Data Engineer in our Business Intelligence team, data warehousing is your sweet spot. You take lead in design and development of data pipelines and enhance our data warehouse architecture.
- You take on data challenges across all our business areas and work cross-functionally with software engineers and DevOps.
- This includes the following responsibilities:
- Own and run our data warehouse infrastructure.
- Maintain our real-time data pipelines and third-party APIs and improve their scalability.
- Maintain, extend and modify the data structures in the warehouse.
- Translate business needs to technical specifications.
- Collaborate with international teams to integrate varieties of systems and analyze data.
- Create Power BI data models and dashboards for requested projects.
What you bring to the table
- You have particularly good analytical thinking skills and a data-driven mindset.
- You like to work independently and have a hands-on mentality.
- You love SQL and transforming data with Python.
- You find it easy to transform business processes into data models.
- You have experience in the field of Data Engineering/Business Intelligence.
- You have (first) experience building data pipelines (ETL-processes) and using Python in a business context.
- Ideally you have a degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or in a comparable field; further education in the Data Science field is of benefit.
- You are fluent in German and/or English.
