IT DIRECTOR WANTED

Our client, a successful automobile customer is looking for an experienced IT Director with a strong background in SAP implementation, business management, team leading, and project coordination. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT operations, including the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems, as well as leading and managing a team of IT professionals.

The role is a mixture of home-office and on-site work. It's a great opportunity to work with a wide variety of IT products!

Here’s what you need to know!

• Location: Greater Cologne/Wuppertal region
• Language requirement: English fluency required – German B1 or higher is considered a real plus
• Salary: Up to 150.000 EUR depending on your experience and language skills

Tasks

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring that they are integrated effectively with other business systems and processes
• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Coordinate and manage IT projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop IT solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that support the growth and success of the business.
• Ensure that the company's IT infrastructure is secure, resilient, and fully operational.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in IT, with a focus on SAP implementation, business management, team leading, and project coordination
• Strong knowledge of SAP systems and applications, as well as a thorough understanding of IT infrastructure and security
• Proven experience leading and managing IT teams, with excellent team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex IT problems.
