Robotic Software Engineer

Tasks

• Develop ROS2 nodes
• Evaluate different ROS2 packages
• Implement and develop linux drivers
• Implement and train machine learning models
• Test and deploy code inside both a simulated environment and directly onboard our vessels
• Expand the capabilities of our simulation environment
• Troubleshooting issues during lab and in-field tests

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2
• Strong C++ and Python skills
• Work in a structured and proactive manner
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Good documentation and communication skills in English
• Strong Linux skills
• Experience with Micro-ROS is beneficial
• Knowledge of NMEA 2000, 0183, ISOBus and CANopen standards is advantageous.
• A portfolio of personal projects is highly regard
