The Principal Manager or Consultant role at zolar offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and drive the growth of solar initiatives. As a strategic leader, you will oversee cross-functional projects, provide guidance, and deliver innovative solutions in the rapidly evolving solar sector. Your role involves fostering collaboration, inspiring teams, and utilizing your expertise in renewable energy to develop sustainable and efficient solar solutions. With a passion for clean energy, a track record of successful leadership, and strong analytical and communication skills, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of solar energy at zolar.

Your role at zolar

• Oversee cross-functional projects: Take charge of various projects that span multiple departments, fostering collaboration and effective communication among teams. By coordinating efforts, you will ensure seamless execution and successful outcomes.
• Provide strategic guidance: Utilize your expertise and experience to offer strategic direction, ensuring the success of our business projects. Your insights will guide decision-making processes and drive innovation within the rapidly evolving sector.
• Deliver innovative solutions: Develop groundbreaking solutions that address the challenges and opportunities within the renewable energy landscape. Your creative thinking and problem-solving skills will contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient solar solutions.

What you will need to bring

1. Education

   • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Business Administration. Advanced degrees or certifications specific to the solar industry are desirable.

2. Leadership Experience

   • Extensive experience in senior management or consulting roles, demonstrating progressive responsibility and a track record of successful project management.
   • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive solar project development, and achieve business objectives.
   • Proven experience in leading and managing diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and developing talent.

3. Strategic Thinking

   • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute innovative business strategies specifically tailored to the solar industry.
   • Experience in analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and driving solar project implementation.

4. Analytic and problem-Solving Skills

   • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex challenges, identify technical and commercial issues, and develop effective solutions.
   • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to navigate regulatory frameworks and optimize project economics.

5. Communication Skills

   • Outstanding oral and written communication skills specific to the solar industry, with the ability to effectively articulate complex solar concepts and proposals.
   • Strong presentation and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and drive successful solar projects.

6. Financial Acumen

   • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including project finance and funding.
   • Ability to collaborate with finance teams to develop comprehensive business cases and secure financial support for initiatives.
