Sourcing Group Buyer (f/m/d)

Our client is an international, European supplier to the Automotive, Renewable Energy and Industrial sectors and is a renowned brand in its market. In the automotive sector, it specializes on structural parts and elements and on metal products for the body. The components are manufactured in advanced casting processes. Our clients is a well-established supplier to German premium OEMs.
The company is now looking for its new Sourcing Group Buyer (f/m/d) who is homebased in southern Germany.

Tasks

• Collaboration in cross-functional teams to identify and implement optimization potentials
• Procurement market research in the responsible area
• Risk management (assessing supplier risks and deriving countermeasures or escalation)
• Risk reporting
• Specification and adaptation of relevant processes
• Maintenance of standard contracts
• Leading contract and price negotiations
• Carrying out total cost analyses
• Identification and realization of savings potentials

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or business administration
• At least 3 years of professional experience in – ideally – the following categories: CAPEX, Subcontracting (contract manufacturing), and Prefabricated parts
• Expert in Category Management, Stakeholder Management, Tactical Purchasing and Project Management
• Experience with supplier work in the automotive environment
• Fluent in German and English
• Team player, confident
• Enthusiasm and intercultural competence
• SAP
