About the Team Everyday Banking platform is responsible for the end-to-end journeys for personal current accounts and savings products to consumers, including servicing of debit and credit cards in multiple channels, as well as owning Vault, Core Banking Systems and e-statements. About the role Release Managers initiate and handle all readiness activities for implementing changes into the digital multi-channel environment. This requires involvement in all stages of the software development lifecycle; from incubation through to deployment. They setup and lead engagement with all teams/platforms external to the lab in order to facilitate the end-to-end delivery of feature team initiatives. They own execution of all route to live activities; creating and being accountable of the initiative delivery plan, applying multiple lenses to change delivery i.e. customer, service, performance, operations perspectives What you’ll do Contributing to technical design discussions to ensure the design is achievable within the timescales, and that the delivery mechanism protects live service Ensuring the service, performance and security impact of all feature team initiatives is understood and handled appropriately Engaging and coordinating resources from external teams to deliver team initiative timelines Setting up and managing appropriate change governance Identifying and managing all delivery risks, issues and dependencies associated with feature team deliverables Assisting with the removal of feature team delivery blockers Identifying and taking ownership of process improvements to simplify change delivery Raising risks and issues in a timely manner, feeding into senior management as required What we need from you: Knowledge & Understanding of Agile delivery methodology and change delivery lifecycles. Excellent planning ability and organisational awareness. Excellent Stakeholder and Relationship management skills. Ability to effectively communicate & influence across a wide range of stakeholders (both technical and business) Ability to work effectively as part of a multi skilled Team, contributing to ways of working improvements.
