Strong stakeholder and team management skills with the ability to plan for the future, drive best practices and ensure growth of talent are essential attributes.Reporting to: Director, Head of MarketingResponsibilities:Responsible for developing and executing the UK marketing technology strategy and roadmap and supporting our overall digital transformation strategy in line with the firm's growth strategyDrive digital assessments, including "as is"/"to be" design sessions and documentation to enable solution strategy, development, and implementation - to fully leverage value from our MarTech assetsDevelop a strong measurement and reporting framework, with support from our offshore Marketing Effectiveness & Operations team, to provide a clear, consolidated view of performance across our tech stack and identify growth areasPartner with the Digital Marketing Lead to understand marketing and business needs and develop solutions to be included in the strategic roadmapCollaborate closely with the CRM team to assist in platform integration across our tech stackBuild and develop processes adhering to data compliance, security, and GDPR best practices for data governance, storage, processing, etc.Coordinate and manage partners, including ITS and Global Digital Marketing, to achieve our martech roadmapDrive user adoption and support organisation-wide change managementProvide direction to and be responsible for day-to-day management of the martech team, including conflict resolution, personal development, and strategic guidancePrepare marketing technology budget and ensure adherence to budget management frameworkOversee management of technology vendors/third-party organisationsRepresent marketing in relevant UK and Global forums to influence and secure decisions in the best interest of the firm to advance our marketing technologiesStay up to date on the current and future landscape of marketing technologies and best practice to ensure KPMG are at the cutting edge of marketingAct as an ambassador of our marketing technology capabilities and build strong relationships with sales, marketing, and business stakeholders Knowledge, skills and experience:Deep marketing technology experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding professional environmentB2B experience preferred, but not requiredStrong technical understanding of marketing technologies and marketing automation principlesExperience with various marketing technologies/platforms, including AEM, Workfront, SpotMe, Ahrefs, Adobe/Google Analytics, SF/Microsoft Dynamics CRM, DMPs, etc.Experience with project tracking tools, such as JIRA and AzureDevOpsExperience with technical languages, such as HTML/CSS, SQL, and JavaScriptExperience with IT project management methodologies, such as SCRUM, Agile, or PRINCE2Proven history of managing end to end delivery of projects - from onboarding new platforms/tools to optimising existing onesAnalytical skills to collect, understand and translate data into insightsExtensive industry knowledge – with the ability to develop strong internal and external networks – competitors, professional networks and trade bodiesExperience managing and negotiating with technology vendors or other third party organisationsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills – with the ability to flex personal style to engage every audienceOutstanding project management skills, with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from a diverse set of stakeholdersExperience managing financial budgets (platform/tools budgeting, monitoring costs, etc.)Future focused – always one step ahead of the curve – and the ability to challenge, be challenged on key ideas and concepts, to foresee the potential impact and value creation of marketing technology activitiesInspirational team leader and intuitive manager – creating a collaborative, high performing team virtually, across the country and offshoreConstantly reviewing better ways of doing things and leveraging technology to deliver high performing campaigns and activitiesGood understanding of marketing technology marketplace and able to assess and prioritise impact of new tools and tactics on our strategy and client experienceWell-versed in data privacy, compliance, and security guidelines to ensure all platforms/tools and processes are in adherenceCredible and influential profile to challenge and manage senior stakeholdersBrings a real sense of fun and energy to the role
