About the RoleAre you looking to become part of a very successful award-winning perms desk and branch! Do you have previous experience in recruitment or strong sales experience? An opportunity has become available at Adecco Preston office, for a Perms Candidate consultant to join their team.  The right candidate will be supporting the Perms division, continuing to keep the current Perms desk running at its current success rate. With an opportunity to introduce and drive any new strategic ideas to ensure further achievements and success for the team and branch. Location: Preston, city centre Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday              (Offering hybrid hrs, 3 days in the office & 2 days from home) Reporting to the Branch Manager, the primary function of the Candidate Consultant is to provide a high level of administrative and sales support to the branch, in accordance with the needs of the business. Depending on whether you are aligned to the temporary or permanent side of the business, or both, some of the following responsibilities will be included. A Candidate Consultants supports the smooth running of the branch in all areas of administration and sales. Promote the branch positively in relation to candidates, clients, and fellow colleagues to achieve the maximum capability of the branch. A Candidate Consultant is also an ambassador of the branch familiar with its client base, candidate pool and services that Adecco provides.What you’ll be doingProactively resource candidates for active client vacancies as well as pipelining talent relevant to the current market sectorsHandle incoming candidate CVs, pre-screening and arranging candidate appointments and guide candidates through the interview processAssisting with the interview process to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and previous work historyUsing video interviewing technology and assessments to shortlist and select candidates.Proactively understanding current client’s requirements.Build market knowledge of clients within each sector.Daily use of internal CRM system and recruitment tools.Interact and liaise with clients on daily basis.About youSkillsExcellent relationship building and customer service skillsStrong organisation skills and a methodical approach to all tasksStrong desire to succeed.Resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure.Ability to operate in a competitive environment.Working to tight deadlines.Strong organisation skills and a methodical approach to all tasksBusiness acumenAbility to prioritise workload to ensure efficient delivery of candidates to your consultantEmpathy, the ability to support candidates through their job searchWhy choose us?It’s an exciting time to be part of our team.
