SatSense Summary: SatSense’s mission is to make high-resolution ground movement data accessible. We provide precise and up-to-date deformation monitoring services using data from satellite-borne radar. We are looking for the right candidate to help get our message out there, positively influence sales and be a key part of our skilled team. Summary of Role:We are excited to be recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Co-Ordinator to join our growing company. This is a key role which will work closely with our Head of Sales, supporting with and developing our marketing strategy, sales strategy and events calendar. SatSense is expanding its client base and the role will allow for creative input into branding, campaigns and business development. As an innovative, dynamic, startup business, SatSense requires the expertise of a sales and marketing specialist who can engage future customers both through our website and across our social channels, notably Linkedin and Twitter. Alongside our marketing requirements, the candidate will split their time with sales coordination and will respond to inbound queries, help with quotations and will feel comfortable proactively calling customers and updating our CRM. This is a full-time role, working 37.5hours per week, generally Monday to Friday 9 am – 5.00 pm.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:•Maintaining social media platforms and SatSense online presence. •Being able to articulate SatSense’s unique value proposition and ensuring this is brought to life in everything we share.•Plan, arrange and schedule our event/conference calendar for the year. •Input into planning a social media calendar across several social media platforms to ensure we address each of our market segments.•Having creative input on marketing campaigns, branding and content that positively impact business development•Focus on improving SatSense's online footprint and expanding potential client awareness of our services by organically growing followers and post-interaction. •Develop a stronger online brand identity with more relevant followers and more interaction prompting increased traffic through our website and SatShop portal.•Provide administrative support to the sales team by writing quotations •Update customer activity, contact and sales pipeline stages in our CRM•Working on multiple new and existing projects at any one time Essential Criteria:•Undergraduate degree in marketing, communication or related discipline OR two years experience in a similar role.•At least one year of experience in creative copywriting for website / social media platforms.•At least one year of experience in maintaining social media accounts.•Excellent communication skills across a range of media and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. •Technically minded – be able to understand complex concepts and market them across social media •Comfortable attending events and showcasing the brand by meeting new people and explaining our technology and USPs. •Social media advertising and spend campaign experience alongside sales administration experience •A innovative, self-motivated, individual who brings new ideas to the table and strives to find more effective ways of getting things done.Desirable criteria:•Comfortable with CRM processes – inputting data and utilising contact lists to drive marketing strategy •Strongly familiar with all facets of marketing campaigns, from call campaigns to social media campaigns. •Google PPC, and Google Analytics experience is a plus •Geotechnical/Geophysical/Engineering company or academic experience a plus. As is the ability to research and gather technical information to produce written content in a style appropriate to the communication channel and its audience.•The ability to take a complex service and present it in a meaningful, succinct and understandable format, relevant to the communication channel and its audience. •Online networking experience for new business development and partnerships. •A good understanding of core marketing and digital marketing principles.
