Simpson Judge are working with a client in the education industry who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager into the team to be responsible for the finance function and provide efficient management of financial resources. This is a newly created role in the organisation and is based in Warrington with hybrid working and will suit someone ACCA/CIMA qualified or studying towards a qualification. Responsibilities: Developing efficient and effective financial processes and proceduresLeading and managing a small teamProduction of detailed and insightful financial & management informationAssisting in preparing a budget for the organisations activity and use this to actively monitor and control performance and provide regular Budget Monitoring Reports to budget holders and Senior Management. Production of monthly management accounts and budget information when requiredAssisting in the maintenance of strategic financial plans to indicate the trends and requirements of the Organisations development planEnsuring internal financial procedures comply with all statutory aspects of company law and be responsible for submitting accounts to Companies House on an annual basisPresenting proposals, recommendations or bids.Developing costing models and fee structuresReconciling bank accounts in a timely and accurate mannerPreparation of cashflow forecasts, reconciling monthly credit card statements and managing Sales LedgerAct as cost centre manager for specific budget areas Requirements:ACCA/CIMA Qualified/Part Qualified, Qualified by Experience will also be consideredExperience managing a small teamExperience in the education/charity industry would be advantageous but not essential
