Are you a degree graduate with an interest in pursuing a career as a Quality Control Engineer? This could be ideal for you as your first Quality Engineering opportunity! Or perhaps you graduated within the past few years and seeking a role within this field. Experience of working as a Quality Engineer is advantageous from any manufacturing sector but not essential. My client is looking for somebody that they can potentially train, mould and provide development in the long-term. The group also sets principles of action which govern the activities of each employee in the exercise of their professional responsibilities – these principles are: Respect for the Law; Caring for the Environment; Employee Health and Safety, and Employee Rights Purpose Champion quality on site by carrying out product sampling, analysis of quality data and investigating customer complaints. Support the company Integrated management system and WCM programs through audits, identifying continuous improvement activities and using standard problem solving tools. To act as additional cover for the laboratory technicians when required. Duties * Promote company Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies in the performance of the role. * Keep self and others safe and reports all incidents and near misses * Supports the QPC team in resolving day-to-day issues in production. * Supports compilation and distribution of daily QC Status report. * Generate reports and charts for key quality metrics and WCM Pillar board. * Basic knowledge and use of statistical analyses and other quality control tools to aid in improvement project identification * Identifies opportunities for quality process improvements and work with QPC team in achieving these. * Conducts random sampling & testing of finished product and report findings * Supports start-ups, process changes and New Product Development by testing product * Organises samples for external testing.
