We are looking for an experienced Event Estimator... You will be responsible for working within the EMEA estimating team, in their creation of production and rental solutions through project estimates. Project estimates quantify the internal and external costs for fabricated and rental components utilized in exhibitions, events, and permanent installation environments. The Estimator position requires strong and effective collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders including design, sales, production, operations, engineering, management, as well as Spiro customers and vendors.Who we areSpiro is a global, full service face-to-face live events marketing partner. Spiro employees are great at collaborating and communicating.What will you doMaintain estimating data within the estimating systemEstimate projects as requiredIdentify best practices in production, materials use, and vendor solutions.Contribute to exhibit engineering considerations and Installation solutionsParticipate in the evaluation of production quality performance and customer satisfaction Assist with the purchasing of subcontracted fabrication and rental services for sold ordersWhat you will needCollege degree or related experience in field such as engineering, management and finance or project managementExceptional analytical strength and the ability to break down complex construction and engineering problemsStrong ability to read construction detail drawings, floor plans, and interpret design renderings is mandatory High level of proficiency with MS Excel is necessary; experience using MS PowerPoint is desiredDemonstrate the ability to manage project details, with high quality resultsTrack record of excellent conceptual skills and problem-solving abilityExcellent presentation and communication skillsKnowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, printed fabrics, and graphicsAbility to forecast workload Strong ability to work under pressure and to meet commitmentsWillingness and ability to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as neededAble to travel when required to meet with clients and internal customersPossess an even temperament, be positive, exhibit patienceStrong customer orientationDevelopment and benefitsAt Spiro we look to equip you with the tools required for you to progress in your career with us.
