You will project manage NVH Technical Chapters to deliver all aspects of NVH (Installed PT, Road NVH, Airborne Noise, Body Integration, Chassis Integration, Electrical Integration) from through to the Launch of the programme. The projects you are assigned will continue to develop your Engineering skills and Business Behaviours while delivering to programme deadlines. You will ensure JLR products maintain their attribute position in the Premium market sector in a supportive environment.KEY ACCOUNTABILITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· You will lead / manage the NVH development on JLR programmes from Concept to Production, using standard JLR planning and reporting tools· Follow Agile process and demonstrate Agile working principles internally and externally to NVH dept.· You will be responsible for working to define subjective and objective vehicle level NVH targets which are compatible with customer expectations· You will be responsible for collaboratively working with VNVH Technical Chapters to translate these vehicle level targets into appropriate objective NVH targets at system and component level· Support competitor and comparator Attribute benchmarking and futuring, including, physical / virtual testing, measurement and visual assessments as required· Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway· Support to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved WHAT YOU'LL NEEDEssential:Significant understanding of all aspects of NVH hardware delivery/developmentStrong Business Behaviours and Programme Management CapabilityGood communication and presentation skills to influence the Programme team and Component Owners.Ability to work independently and lead a team to focus on delivery to meet programme gateway requirements, including timing.Good understanding of all types of propulsion systems.Desirable:Good understanding of LMS TestLab.Demonstrate specific NVH issue resolution projects you have completedExperienced at performing critical subjective assessments of vehicles for NVH performanceKnowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experienceKnowledge of Quality Operating Standards in ManufacturingSO WHY US?Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme.
