BCS supplies and operates all IT, security, procurement, and finance Shared Services. We are embedded alongside the operations that we serve, enabling us to maintain close working relationships that support delivery to our customers. We drive standardisation, simplification and automation across Babcock, to help generate sustainable value for the group and our external customers.The roleThe difference our new IFS Functional Analyst will makeAs an IFS Functional Analyst, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. With your skillsets and expertise, youll be playing a key role in identifying areas for process and system improvements, including quantifying potential business.Day to day, youll take responsibility for business analysis services across Babcocks IFS estate, defining and understanding the clients business process, functions, and data. Youll be working closely with our product owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts by recommending appropriate options and defining priority.At Babcock, we have a history of helping talent go far. This role can be performed from any Babcock Hub and includes home working arrangements. Therefore, youll be ideally within suitable travel distance of any UK Babcock Hub.Essential experienceIFS Functional experience is required (Finance, HR, P&SC, Maintenance etc)IT HND/bachelors Degree level or hold relevant experience in Business/Systems/Functional AnalysisPossess broad understanding of business and business activities with deep knowledge in at least one area of specialisationDemonstrate a systematic, disciplined analytical approach to problem solvingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSuccessful candidates will need to satisfy security requirements.
