Committee Support OfficerCentral LondonTemporary to Permanent£30KStart ASAPMinute Taking a MUST!My client a reputable and established Membership Faculty based in Central London is currently searching for a Committee Support OfficerThe Committee Support Officer will support The CEO and all The Faculties Board, Committees and Special Interest Groups in line with Faculty objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in arranging paperwork, monitoring action plans, taking minutes and diary management.RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY DUTIESCommittee SupportSupport the CEO and Faculty Manager in all committee and board administration, including organising/scheduling meetings, producing agendas and papers, and taking minutes and recording actions.Ensure information is continuously updated for all boards, Sub-committees and working parties, including in a central filing system, Teams, mailing lists and on the website.Support the CEO in pulling together information for annual reports, research and working party trackersLiaise with members and volunteers over email, by phone and in person in a timely, professional and diplomatic mannerCEO SupportResponsible for managing the Chief Executive’s diary and ensuring they are aware of the actions and deadlines relating to themMaintaining the corporate calendar (including Board, Council & Committee meetings)Preparing Documents, PowerPoint presentations and Papers for the Chief ExecutiveGeneral ResponsibilitiesWork to ensure an inclusive approach to membersComply with all statutory and organisation health and safety and security requirementsAdhere to all the Faculty’s Policies and ProceduresActively champion and promote the Faculty’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion policiesSupport and contribute to the overall success of the FacultyAlongside your key duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary andSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEPrevious experience of formal meeting and agenda management and minute taking for committees and groups.Action log managementExperienced administrator with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Confidence and ability to communicate and manage stakeholders at all levels with tact and diplomacy.Attention to detail, accuracy in updating records and enjoys working with numbersExcellent written and oral communication skills in English, other languages a plusExcellent organisation skills and an ability to manage and prioritise challenging workloadsStrongly results oriented, ability to work independently and show initiativeAbility to balance several different tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlinesViews individual differences as a way to build new ideas and innovations.Previous experience of a membership organisation (desirable)Experience working with digital membership communities (desirable)To apply to this role please send your CVDue to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
