Permanent opportunity within the public sector £43,000 per year Hybrid working pattern, West Midlands base Our central government client is looking for a Solution Delivery Lead to join their team as a permanent addition, and take responsibility for specific IT projects aligning to the demand on Digital Service for IT solutions, including both BAU and change portfolios. You will be responsible for continuously and proactively seeking to improve technical outcomes for the organisation, providing high quality, value for money, professional ICT services. Skills You Will Need…PRINCE2 Foundation level or equivalent project management methodology qualification.Knowledge and understanding of Industry Best Practice and relevant Guidelines such as ITIL v4Proven ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple responsibilities and assignments. Ability to operate and present information at a senior level when required.Strong technical analytical, mediation and problem resolution skillsThe ability to plan, organise and deliver projects/programme of work to tight deadlines and budgets Stakeholder management, leadership and relationship building skills – especially in dealing with external suppliers, partners and organisersCapable of formulating statements of work for delivering ICT work packages contributing to business change projects/programme, with the responsibility for planning, organising, staffing, leading and controlling work stream activitiesExpert use of IT, in particular the project management softwareDay to Day…To work on the technical delivery of projects/programmes as applicable in the Solution Delivery Team, with responsibility for the end-end scheduling, management, and delivery of technical packages of work Lead and manage technical resources working with design and architectures to understand business needs and how to best implement technology solutions and changes in services across the changing IT landscape Using industry standard project management, tools and processes to manage and own the agreed ICT solution delivery of assigned projects/programmes and plans Planning the project transition into operational service in a controlled and managed wayRepresent and promote the reputation of Digital Services in meetings and groups, including the development of appropriate and constructive relationships, with relevant organisations and areas of the company. ** Must be eligible for security clearances ** If this is something you feel suited to and would like to apply, please send in your CV.
