Senior Commodity Manager Permanent Milton Keynes - £50,000 to £55,000, Bonus and Benefits Melbreck Technical are working with a leading a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist equipment and machinery based in Milton Keynes. As they continue to invest in new products, they have identified a need to strengthen their Supply Chain team and as such are looking to hire a Senior Commodity Manager to join the business ASAP. Senior Commodity Manager Role Overview: The Senior Commodity Manager will be key in developing all procurement processes and activities within the business. The role is key in creating value by ensuring the spend across all finished products is executed to the highest order. By providing leadership and managing multiple stakeholders, you will be responsible for the delivery of a world class supply chain, whilst ensuring external risks are mitigated wherever possible. Senior Commodity Manager Responsibilities: Develop, improve and implement all purchasing activities associated with the successful management of an extensive portfolio of suppliers. Working in collaboration with all key stakeholders develop, improve and introduce global purchasing commodity strategies to support a changing supply environments and business growth plans. Lead and develop breakthrough business projects using advanced commodity management and sourcing tools to delivery commercial and operational excellence. Work with internal and external partners to identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities that meet and exceed business objectives. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support business, market and purchasing prioritises and enable and support rapid alignment and associated deployment. Deliver against financial targets as per individual and business plan objectives, responsible for all associated performance and management reporting, including adaptation, creation and stewardship of relevant KPIs.
